If You Give a Mouse a Cookie

If you give a mouse a cookie by Laura Numeroff ; illustrated by Felicia Bond

One of the most popular and beloved books in the 101 Picture Book Challenge is “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.” The kind gesture of sharing a cookie could not have predicted the chain reaction of logical demands to generate such a funny story. Whimsical illustrations fill the pages with very detailed pictures of an adorable mouse full of energy and a boy who tries to keep up with it. I like how this book ends because it leads to a plea of “reading it again, please!” Just like cookies, who can eat just one? Help yourself to several servings of this book. We are not counting calories here.
