Recently, we received a “Spotlight Award” nomination form (you can pick one up at any of our locations) from Cynthia – a customer who sought out help from our South Branch staff in brushing up on her computer skills in order to earn a promotion – and the best news is – that she landed the promotion!

Here is what Cynthia had to say about her experience:

Every time I come into their Library, I am always greeted with a smile. They are so happy to help you. I was in the transition of getting a new promotion and I needed a lot of help on the computer and the copier. Those three ladies (Manager Celeste Felix-Taylor, Librarian Laura Owen, and Circulation Supervisor Jolynn Nalls) were right there by my side helping me get it done. They showed great commitment and customer service in their jobs, and with their help, I earned the promotion and a new career!”
