Safety Not Guaranteed - movie directed by Colin Trevorrow

Title: Safety Not Guaranteed
Director: Colin Trevorrow
Writer: Derek Connolly
Year: 2012
MPAA Rating: R
Genres: Comedy, Drama, Romance
Descriptors: Quirky, Offbeat, Entertaining
Rating: ★★★★ out of 5

Summary: Three co-workers at a magazine seek to interview someone who placed an ad for time travel companionship.

“Safety Not Guaranteed” is an offbeat comedy starring Jake Johnson (best known for his role as Nick Miller on “New Girl“), Aubrey Plaza (best known for her role as April Ludgate on “Parks and Recreation“), Mark Duplass (best known for his role as Pete Eckhart on “The League”) and Karan Soni (relatively unknown until this film). It’s a film about a lot of things … eccentric characters, incurred regrets, romance and time travel. The thing I loved most about this film is that the characters are very relatable in some way. Even the ones that seem a bit odd at first glance. What would you do if you could go back in time — would you change anything if you had the chance?
