It’s almost time! As the culmination of months of rehearsals and tireless planning comes to an end, the chamber orchestra students from the Toledo School for the Arts will present a free performance of African American music at Main Library on February 1, 2018.

The Toledo School for the Arts and the Toledo Lucas County Public Library invite you to enjoy an afternoon of music celebrating the impact of African American music during Black History Month with TSA’s chamber orchestra and guest pianist Michael Peslikis featuring ragtime melodies, Dixieland tunes, civil war songs, spirituals, parlor songs and New Orleans jazz.

Arts Students Prepare for Black History Month
