Just as adults suffer from social anxiety and troublesome thoughts that will not go away; so do children. By practicing mindful presence and awareness, kids learn to pause for a moment, catch their breath, and get a sense of what they need at this very moment in time, firmly rooting them in the here and now, with space to grow and be themselves.
