Arts Students Prepare for Black History Month

Coming in early February, students from the Toledo School for the Arts will kick off Black History Month with a concert at the Main Branch library. These students are planning a musical collaboration with the Toledo Lucas County Public Library and retired BGSU professor, Michael Peslikis.

What comes to mind when you think of springtime in Ohio? For some it may conjure up images of birds singing, flowers blooming and sunny skies. For others, spring may inspire an awakening of the creative spirit. If you’re a poet, you may have a renewed desire to get out and share your work and connect with others.
