Is your teen preparing for college and/or searching for a job? Check out our programs aimed at helping them succeed, including several programs designed to prepare them for the City of Toledo’s Youth Commission Teen Job Fair on April 14, 2018 at the SeaGate Convention Centre.

Creating a good resume is a big part of landing a job. Get help learning how to create a resume that stands out from the rest! Registration for workshops is recommended as seating is limited. Participants should bring a flash (USB) drive to save their workshop materials.

Interviewing 101

Thinking about a summer job? A big stumbling block for many teens is how to make a good impression at the job interview. Learn the basic elements of an interview and key tips for impressing employers. Registration is recommended at workshops as seating is limited.

Multiple experts will be on hand in a drop-in setting to help you polish your resume, practice your interview skills, help you search for jobs and work on the skills required to keep the job. We will even offer guidance on how to smartly manage your new paycheck.

Are you a high school student who is getting ready to take the ACT or SAT test? Learn how to prepare using Learning Express Library. We’ll show you how to access the most up to date practice tests from the library, your home or on the go.

Digital Toolbox

Students in grades 5-12 can schedule a one-on-one tutorial to learn how to access free ACT and SAT practice tests, access eBooks and find research articles.

College Choice Game

Learning about the college planning process has never been so much fun! We've taken all the tasks needed to make a college education affordable and turned them into a game. It's learning by doing - will you be able to navigate the maze to a successful end? Ages 13-18.
