The Arts Commission supports, promotes and connects visual, performing and literary artists, arts organizations and businesses; administers the City of Toledo’s 1% for Art ordinance; and works to build a creative and cultural community in Toledo.
Imagination Station, Toledo’s Science Center, is dedicated to making science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fun and accessible. There are hundreds of interactive, hands-on exhibits that are exciting and educational for the entire family.
Toledo Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) is a merging of the Toledo Symphony and Toledo Ballet. This new non-profit will serve as the home for Toledo's musicians, dancers, students, teachers, staff, trustees, artistic teams and friends and supporters.
The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) exists to enable people to access the activities of the region through public transportation. TARTA serves the communities of Maumee, Ottawa Hills, Rossford, Sylvania, Sylvania Township, Toledo and Waterville.
The Toledo Symphony is a community-supported organization that is an exceptional musical presence for the region, creating a home for professional musicians and teachers who deliver outstanding performances and music education for all.
