Transcription of Orders given to Capt. John Lingle.

Urbana       Oct. 15, 1812

Captain Lingle will march his Company to Fort Meigs & guard that Post--He
and his Company will treat all friendly Indians well--if strange Indians come to
the Crane's Camp--you will apply to W. G. Young who Superintends the Indians--
Capt. Cox's Men you will direct to return their Arms & accoutrements to the
Public Stores--
