Classic Movie Afternoon

Every fourth Wednesday of the month, the Waterville library plays a classic movie on one of our screens with refreshments. The May movie will be It Happened One Night starring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert, and directed by Frank Capra. It was originally released in 1934. Run time is 105 minutes.

Branch History

Serving the residents of southwestern Lucas County, Waterville Branch has been at its present location since 1964, having outgrown classroom space at the local elementary school. After a renovation in 1980, the facility quickly outgrew its space and grew again in 2004. Waterville continues to be a viable meeting place for a diverse and growing population.
