Programs are every 28 days for two hours. The first hour is instruction and curriculum. The second hour typically is an open lab with “one on one” time with the Instructor. Ready to Read
To be successful readers, children need to enter kindergarten with a large vocabulary. New research says that children need to be ready to learn to read and write before they enter kindergarten. Nearly 1/3 of Toledo’s children are not ready to enter kindergarten. If parents and caregivers know and use the 5 practices, it can help children get ready for kindergarten!
