Lucas County is alive with Poetry. These pages highlight resources - books and databases, and poetry events - in the Libraries and in the Community.

There's also a place for you to submit an original poem and a place to read poems submitted by others.

Formed in 2010, Poetry Speaks @ Your Library features a cross-section of Northwest Ohio’s best poets and prose writers reading their material.  Held three times a year over two consecutive weeks, Poetry Speaks attempts at bringing diverse voices to the community.
