Let’s work together to make sure our youngest community members have everything they need to be strong readers, engaged learners, and confident students. From birth, while learning to read, success throughout the school year, and for support throughout high school, the Library has resources for families and teachers. If you can’t find what you need on this page, please call us at 419.259.5231.

Getting Library cards for all students is a top Toledo Lucas County Public Library goal! It’s easy for your school to participate:
  • Send an Excel spreadsheet with each student’s name, address, school ID number, and birth date to susan.roudebush@toledolibrary.org.
  • We will send you an email to confirm that the accounts have been created and directions about creating a PIN.
  • Students can then access all of the Library’s digital resources through our website.
  • Students can visit any  location to pick up a free physical Library card using their school ID number. This will allow them to check out physical materials.
  • Some of your students will already have cards, and they can continue to use those cards instead of, or in addition to, these new cards. If they don’t remember their Library card number, they or their parents can call any location for help.
Call 419.259.5200 with any questions or to get further help.
