All the Cool Stuff Entering the Public Domain in 2023

January 1 of every year is considered Public Domain Day. This is the day that materials copyrighted in the US become available to the public at the conclusion of their 95-year copyright term. What this means to the general public is that the materials can be shared and adapted and used without having to pay licensing fees. This past January 1 items from 1927 became part of the public domain. Here are just some of the books, movies and music that are now available!
