Toledo Lucas County Public Library

Listen, learn, and act this Black History Month.

READ AND LEARN
All of the Library book and film groups feature Black authors and stories this February. It’s easy to join an in-person or online group, and you still have time to read one of the great books featured. Find a group to begin your Black History Month exploration.

TOLEDO’S BLACK HISTORY
We’re celebrating the lives and stories of Toledo’s own Black community in a new online exhibition. Learn about the people, events, and activism that shaped the growth of Toledo’s Black community and discover resources from our archives that examine local race relations over time.
YOUNG, GIFTED, AND BLACK
Youth and teen entrepreneurs can get inspiration and information to fuel their business success at this dynamic workshop. Learn from local teen entrepreneurs and the Library’s Small Business and Nonprofit Support department.
