    Urban Libraries Council Honors Toledo Library for Workforce and Development Innovations

    Toledo Library earned recognition during the 2019 ULC Innovations event.

  • Landmark in Forks Washington that is part of the Twilight saga. The Quileute Treaty Line is a sign added to the area for tourists to come to and take pictures. It captures the boundary between the Quileute Indian Reservation and Cullen's territory from Twilight. The sign says "Please do not climb or sit!" along with "No" in a red circle with a line through it "Vampires beyond this point." Below that hangs another sign that says "Treaty Line." Between "Treaty" and "Line" is a circle with a silhouette of a wolf howling.

    I Took a Bookcation and You Should Too

    Take your love of books to the next level with a bookcation. I took one for Twilight and Twin Peaks and was not disappointed!

Form No. 68" along with "To whom it may concern, Greetings: These presents attest. That in accordance with the proclamation of the President of the United States, and in compliance with law, Clem Clair Hubbard, (City or town.) Toledo (County.) Lucas (State.) Ohio, has submitted himself to registration and has by me been duly registered this 12th day of September 1918, under the supervision of the local Board designated on the back herof." The card is signed by "Charles Parker, Registrar." and says at the bottom "(Place stamp of Local Board on back of this card.)"

    Toledo Library customer recovered the 101-year-old document in a Friends of the Library book purchase.
