The Library is excited to invite you to join the Steinem Sisters Collection Book Club, a feminist book club dedicated to exploring, discussing, and celebrating the works of feminist authors. We focus on a diverse range of feminist authors, delving into their insightful narratives, powerful essays, and inspiring novels. Each month, we select a thought-provoking book that challenges traditional gender norms, explores intersectional feminism, and offers unique perspectives on social issues.

By participating in the Steinem Sisters Collection Book Club, you will have the opportunity to:

Engage in lively discussions: Our book club gatherings are interactive, encouraging members to share their thoughts, insights, and interpretations of the selected works. We value diverse perspectives and believe in fostering a safe and inclusive environment.

Expand your literary horizons: Through our carefully curated book selections, we aim to introduce you to a wide array of feminist literature. You’ll have the chance to discover new authors, genres, and ideas that will broaden your understanding of feminism and its relevance in our society.

Forge meaningful connections: By joining our discussions, you’ll have the opportunity to meet fellow book lovers who share your passion for feminism and gender equality.

The Steinem Sisters Collection Book Club holds its monthly meetings on the last Thursday of every month at 7 p.m at Main Library. Here are our book selections for Summer 2023!
