Owens Community College
Adults wanting to get an HSE/GED diploma can take tuition-free HSE/GED classes and work at their own pace until they are ready to take the test. Face-to-face and remote learning options are available. Once enrolled, students will attend a two-day, in-person orientation.
These HSE/GED classes are available Monday through Thursday in the morning, afternoon, and evening, depending on the location. View the schedules below.

- Go to owens.edu/ccr.
- Fill out the Student Registration and Release of Information Form.
- Submit the form and someone from Owens’ Career Readiness Center will be in contact to schedule the New Student Orientation.

Penta Career Center
Adults wanting to obtain an HSE/GED diploma can attend free in person and online year-round HSE/GED classes. The program is self-paced and students continue with classes until they earn their HSE/GED diploma. Orientation is the first full week of each month and classes take place two days a week.

Develop English language skills for work and life, including conversation, grammar, reading, writing, and workplace readiness. Citizenship Test study assistance is also available. Instructors can also assist students in continuing education opportunities such as GED attainment, college admissions, or workplace skill development. Registration required.
