HSE/GED Classes

Adults wanting to get an HSE/GED diploma can take tuition-free HSE/GED classes through Owens Community College or Penta Career Center and work at their own pace until they are ready to take the test.

ESOL for English Language Learners

Develop English language skills for work and life, including conversation, grammar, reading, writing, and workplace readiness. Citizenship Test study assistance is also available. Instructors can also assist students in continuing education opportunities such as GED attainment, college admissions, or workplace skill development. Registration required. Representatives from Owens Community College will be on hand to discuss the different adult learning paths that Owens offers and the financial assistance opportunities available, including grants and scholarships.
