April is Autism Awareness Month, or as I like to think of it, Autism Acceptance Month. We use this month to raise awareness of what autism is (and is not), celebrate individuality, uniqueness, and promote equity and inclusivity.
This year, autism has become more personal for me and my family. I started a journey of learning and understanding – not about the medical diagnosis, but the unique individuals who share their stories so WE can be better. The 10 books below share individual and family stories, answer questions, and celebrate love and acceptance.
