10 Great Comics to Read Before Seeing Wakanda Forever

With the release of Wakanda Forever, Marvel takes us back to the world of Black Panther—this time, unfortunately, without the star of the first film, Chadwick Boseman. However, the film promises to bring other characters into the spotlight, notably Letitia Wright’s Shuri and Danai Gurira’s Okeye, along with the big screen debut of Namor and Ironheart. It feels like every Marvel film these days is cause for celebration, and there’s no better way to celebrate than exploring the comics that paved the way. Check out these books that feature some of our favorite residents of Wakanda, as well as their newest enemies and allies.
