10 Songs from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 for New and Old Fans

As we’ve mentioned before, the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series has had almost as big of an influence on music as it’s had on video games. For many gamers, this was their first exposure to punk, metal, and hip hop—particularly songs from these genres that were on the fringes of popular music. While the soundtracks to the first two games are perhaps most deeply rooted in the millennial subconscious, we need to be real for a second: THPS 3 and 4 had some massive bangers (as the kids say). With the release of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake, now is the perfect time to revisit some of the essential tracks from the original games (some of which are, thankfully, returning for the re-release).
