Celebrating Women’s History Month is an opportunity to learn about some of the amazing ways women have contributed to society. As a librarian, I am inspired by the creative women who have developed wonderful stories and the illustrations that accompany them. Stories that inspire us. Stories that strike an emotional connection. Stories that allow us to solve the crime, take that adventure, or experience romance. Stories past and present. Toledo women continue to have a role in creating these stories. Here are some great stories from female authors of today, all of them from the Northwest Ohio region.
