If you’re an aspiring filmmaker, actor, or just want to know how you can take better movies with your phone, Main Library is the place to be this summer.

FilmToledo presents The FilmToledo Workshop Series, classes led by film professionals and aimed at honing and developing your film-related skills. Presented on the third Thursday of each month, these classes offer discussion and instruction on building acting skills through improvisation, a review of the business in’s and out’s of working in the film industry, and how you can make professional-quality movies with the phone that you already have in your pocket.

No experience is needed for any class, though you will walk away with a bit more knowledge to pursue your own filmmaking path.
