The holy month of Ramadan began on Feb. 18 this year and is observed by millions of Muslims around the world for 29 or 30 days. During Ramadan, Muslims fast daily from before dawn until sunset. The joyous celebration of Eid al-fitr is followed right after. Eid marks the breaking of the fast of Ramadan, and the date is based on the crescent moon, which in 2026 is the evening of March 19. Check out these books for all ages and read about Ramadan and Eid al-fitr!
