Whether this is your first time visiting Main Library or you are a frequent guest, this blog will help you find your way through our celebration of Romance books!

Parking

Main Library has free, attached parking and nearby overflow parking will also be available for a cost.

Schedule and Vendors

Romance-Con begins at 10 a.m. on (Sa) Nov. 8. Take in the full experience throughout the day with:

• Nearly two dozen workshops, panels, and activities.
• On-site refreshments from Wanderdust Coffee, BD’s Lemonade King, Lyle’s Crepes, and Swingin Wieners Hot Dogs.
• Limited-edition Romance-Con gear from Jupmode.
• Discounts and other specialties from our downtown and uptown neighbors.
• Meet, mingle, and purchase your next favorite read during the author fair.

Featured Author Talk Details

If you are a featured author talk ticket holder, don’t forget:

• All featured author talk check-ins will take place in the McMaster Center lobby.
• Bring your ticket confirmation email and your ID or Toledo Library card to the check-in table.
• If you do not have a confirmation email, please bring the six-character REF number.
• You will receive a wristband for each featured author talk you registered for.
• Early check-in is highly encouraged to avoid long lines.
• Seats for all those who have not checked in will be released five minutes before the start of the talk.
• All featured author talks will take place in the McMaster Center.
• The McMaster Center and lobby are located on the second floor of Main Library.

Featured Author Signing and Photo Details

There will be an opportunity separate from the author talks to take photos, buy books, and get them signed by our featured authors.

11:45 a.m.-1:45 p.m. | signing only

• The receiving line will form at 11:30 a.m. in the Main Library Atrium
• Books from home are permitted, but only one personalization per person. No non-book items will be signed.
• Signing will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Pre-signed books will be available for purchase from Barnes and Noble at the event.

Photo Line

2:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. | photos only

• The receiving line will form at 1:45 p.m. in the Main Library Atrium
• Photos are limited to the first 400 guests
• Photos will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Susan Lee 11:45 a.m.-2:30 p.m. | signing and photos

• The receiving line will form at 11:30 a.m.
• Signings and photos are available on a first come, first served basis.
• Susan Lee’s books will be available for purchase through Barnes and Noble.
• Books from home are permitted. Please consider purchasing from the event in support of the library.

C.M. Nascosta 11:45 a.m.-2:30 p.m. | signing and photos

• The receiving line will form at 11:30 a.m.
• Signings and photos are available on a first come, first served basis.
• C.M. Nascosta will have books available for purchase at her table.
• Books from home are permitted.

Nikki Payne 11:45 a.m.-2:30 p.m. | signing and photos

• The receiving line will form at 11:30 a.m.
• Signings and photos are available on a first come, first served basis.
• Nikki Payne’s books will be available for purchase through Barnes and Noble.
