O Canada Week: Hockey in North America!

Canucks and Americans both love hockey! While the United States doesn’t have an official national sport, it should come as no surprise that hockey is Canada’s most popular sport, and many would say is their national sport. They’re not totally wrong! Did you know that Canada has two national sports?! The country’s national WINTER sport is ice hockey. (Canada’s national SUMMER sport is lacrosse.)
Whether you play the sport or are a spectator, hockey is known for its exciting speed and frequent physical contact out on the ice, so score a goal with these books for kids and teens. Action-packed hockey games, romance, sports rivalries, learning about the sport…we’ve got it all!
