Ten Quick Reads for the Shortest Day of the Year

For those us north of the Equator, the winter solstice occurs in December when half of the Earth is tilted the farthest away from the Sun causing the Sun to travel its shortest path through the sky. As a result, the day will be marked with the fewest hours of daylight. In recogntion of the shortest day of the year, check out the short books below.
