It takes a special person to run a marathon. You need to build the will and endurance, train your body and mind, eat the right foods, and wake up early to get to the marathon.
I’m not this person. For me, the idea of running for the fun of it elicits feelings of ick, and I’d rather find a couch, a blanket, a book, and an alarm clock that has infinite snooze – or better yet, no alarm clock at all.
