Short story collections aren’t always at the top of the recommendation pile simply because they can be polarizing. If someone’s used to longer novels, they may find short stories lacking. If someone is into the short form, there are so many anthologies available that it can be difficult to narrow down solid choices. But one thing remains undeniable; collected stories (that aren’t from a single author) are fantastic ways to pull together several authors and show off a diverse range of work.
