9 Books For Adults Who Read Harry Potter

I read the Harry Potter series for the first time as a teenager and young adult and distinctly remember the magic of visiting Hogwarts for the first time. As a more mature adult, I have been searching for another book or series that evokes the magic of Harry Potter – but doesn’t make me feel like I am reading a kid’s book. I’ve compiled a list of books that will take you on magical adventures with complex stories and characters, all written for older teens and adults. I hope you, too, can reclaim some of that “first time at Hogwarts” feeling within these books.
