Writing workshops have returned to the Library!
Whether you have been plucking away at a piece of work or haven’t picked up the pencil yet, our creative writing workshops will create a space for you to share and generate new ideas. In addition to meeting and interacting with your creative writing peers, you will also get the chance to work on writing prompts and learn writing tactics that will help you get to the next step.
The benefits of participating in writing workshops are plentiful: granting you the opportunity to appreciate constructive criticism, discovering your strengths, and most of all, keeping you motivated. Even if you haven’t started writing yet, hearing the advice and work of others may be the spark that draws you to a new idea.
Our online workshops will serve as a space of openness, inclusivity, and listening ears. The goal is to create a sense of community that provides you with the feedback, materials, and inspiration you need to keep pushing forward and producing wonderful creative pieces! See below for the schedule of our upcoming workshops, held once a month. The workshops will be conducted online via Zoom. For more information on the programs offered at TLCPL, please visit the Library’s event calendar.
