We’re happy to be a good neighbor by providing free self-serve meeting rooms. (Self-serve means you may move furniture, but you will need to return room to original set-up. Technology support may be available.) Users of this space must agree to and follow the Library Community Room policy.
Use our 24/7 Lobbies with Smart Lockers to pick up books and materials you’ve placed on hold any time day or night! Currently available at King Road, Maumee, Oregon, Reynolds Corners, Sanger, Sylvania, and Waterville locations.
To pick up materials in the 24/7 Lobby Lockers:
- Log into your account
- Find the materials you would like to reserve
- Select “Request it”
- Choose the location’s “Lobby Lockers” option
- Click submit
Quiet study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis during open hours. There are often quiet study tables too, but they are within the main library space.

General Observations
- The building shape works well with the lot.
- The children’s area service point has worked well here.
- People with laptops like the study rooms. Consider power in the walls here, instead of into the tables.
- Display, shelving, and furniture pieces have been moved around the branch since reopening as was the intent of the open floor plan.
In spring 2024, the Library sent a survey to the Lucas County community to learn what you love about your Library and how we could improve our buildings to better meet your needs. This is what 266 Oregon neighbors said they wanted in an updated space.

Services to the Oregon community began in February 1965 at the Oregon Plaza Shopping Center on Coy and Navarre Streets. This location was enlarged in 1980 as usage of the facility increased. In April 1989, the Branch moved to its current location on Dustin Road. A complete renovation project began in 2014, expanding the Library from 15,000 to 18,700 square feet. After the renovation, there was an interactive area for children and teens, as well as updated meeting spaces.
