(M) June 9, 2025: Toledo Library Announces Comic Arts Fest Featured Creators Meggie Ramm and Raúl The Third
Comic Arts Fest, the Toledo Lucas County Public Library’s family-friendly celebration of comics and graphic novels, welcomes Meggie Ramm and Raúl The Third as this year’s featured authors. The convention returns to Main Library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 19. Both artists will participate in featured talks and host comic workshops.

When Romance-Con, the Toledo Lucas County Public Library’s day-long romance book convention, returns to Main Library on Saturday, Nov. 8, customers will see some new and returning faces among the featured author lineup.

Free summer fun returns to the Toledo Lucas County Public Library with programs for kids and teens, music performances and the Library’s annual Summer Read challenge.
(W) May 14, 2025: Toledo Mud Hens and Walleye Return to Main Library for Annual Takeover Event
The Toledo Lucas County Public Library’s Main Library Takeover series continues when staff from two of the region’s favorite sports teams, the Toledo Mud Hens and Toledo Walleye, host an assortment of hands-on sports experiences for Library customers. The free, family-friendly event takes place from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 31.
(M) May 5, 2025: Toledo Library Summer Read challenge starts June 2
Summer Read, the Toledo Lucas County Public Library’s annual summer reading challenge, returns June 2. Readers have until Aug. 2 to complete the challenge and win prizes along the way.
(Th) May 1, 2025: Nancy Drew Fund created at the Toledo Library
The Toledo Lucas County Public Library has established the Nancy Drew Fund, which is dedicated to enhancing and expanding the Jennifer Fisher Nancy Drew Collection — the largest public collection of Nancy Drew books and memorabilia in the United States. The collection is a valuable resource for scholars, fans and new readers to explore the series’ history and legacy.
