Welcome to King Road Branch!
King Road is your place to learn and connect!
Our King Road Branch is a vibrant place (and yes, we are noisy!) with an open layout that encourages collaborative learning and community engagement. This dynamic and friendly space allows people of all ages to come together and learn. Whether it's a child playing in the interactive area, an adult using our studio spaces, or a teen watching a 3D object being printed, we hope to pull our community towards continued learning through every life stage.
Ever since I started visiting Sanger Branch as a young child, I voraciously read fiction. Today, as manager of King Road, one of my favorite things about the space is all the new fiction displayed on the tables in the pavilion.
Prior to life at King Road, I also worked at our Washington, Maumee, Main and West Toledo locations. Along the way, I have met many wonderful people! I strongly believe the Library makes a positive impact on our community and I feel fortunate that I am part of the organization.
Technology, books, movies, Wifi, programs for all ages - we have it! Did I mention we have a drive-thru window? Come visit us!

A place for kids
Our King Road Branch Library is a modern, open concept building designed with families and children in mind. While it might not always be our quietest location, it's certainly always a vibrant space for customers to gather, play and explore together!
One of it's most prominent features is the early literacy area with interactive displays designed by Burgeon Group. We also offer a variety of interactive tech tools for kids and teens, as well as several groups that meet regularly.

Studio spaces and making tools
Record your next hit at the Library! Our King Road location features an incredible range of audio and video equipment for use in designated areas. Microphones, mixing consoles, headphones and accessories are available, as well as audiovisual equipment.
Opened in fall 2016, King Road is the newest Library branch and was built to serve the growing Sylvania and Holland communities. Located next to Sylvania Southview High School, it offers a place for students to have a safe space to learn, attend programs or explore the library after school hours. King Road's open concept design makes it a new type of library space, which focuses on a collaborative atmosphere for exploration and learning
